Dear Supporter,

This past week, we passed an electrical and framing inspection for the first floor. Yay! So, that means it was time for insulation installation. Yesterday, Patti, Cass, Gail, and Toni (yay, girl-power!) spent the day installing insulation in the walls on the first floor rooms. We still have to do the ceiling on the first floor, but we made good progress!

This week, we'll be working on laying the floor in the downstairs kitchen and electrical work will move upstairs.

Classes!

We are thrilled to let you know that we've begun scheduling classes at MakerCraft Studio. So far, we have a beginning knitting class and some quilting classes scheduled (all in August).

• Aug 3: All Our Hearts, beginning quilting class
• Aug 6: Beginning Knitting
• Aug 23: Chroma Wave quilting class
• Aug 24: Spice Mill quilting class
• Aug 25: Insulated, lined, lunch bag (morning or afternoon session)

If you have trouble signing up, just reach out via email or phone (717-219-4065 - text ok).

If you want to take more than one class on the weekend of Aug 23-25, consider spending the night! We are offering the chance to save yourself time driving back and forth from home; just spend the night. You can continue working on the class project after class ends (or another project of your choice) and you'll be ready for class the next day. Details on the Classes page of our website.

We know that some of our supporters are not local or may not be interested in taking classes, so we are going to create a new mailing list for class updates. We'll send you a list of upcoming classes once a month.
